Description: Are you an adrenaline junkie? Is extreme adventure your calling? Welcome to the most extreme rapids of the Sarapiqui River, THE ARMAGEDDON RUN. This activity is for experienced rafters in good physical condition who can paddle hard and are comfortable ON and IN the water. Classified as class 4 rapids, this section of the river requires paddling hard and teamwork to conquer this whitewater thrill. 2-hour whitewater adventure will get heart pumping while surrounded by dense tropical rainforests and basalt canyons, that will have plenty of flora and fauna for you to see and admire. Don’t admire for too long, though! Remember to always listen to your white-water certified guide because big, thrilling, and classic Costa Rican rapids like, “The Terminator”, “Morning Coffee”, or “Dos Locos” could be just around the corner ready to greet you. Although the river is mainly filled with adrenaline inducing rapids, it has sprinkled throughout this section of the river some calm and serene areas that give you a chance to jump off the raft and cool yourself off in the water. During the halfway mark of your trip, your guide will dock your raft and serve you delicious, fresh, and seasonal fruit to enjoy as you recharge for the rest of the trip. Once you have beat the ARMAGEDDON RUN go for a round of applause, you’re officially a Master!
